Product Description


IC693MDL732 is a 0.5 Amp positive Logic output module that delivers 12/24V of voltage with 8 output points per group in a group of 8, sharing a common power output terminal. It’s based on the 90-30 series PLC system. Maximum output per point is 0.5 Amp and a maximum of 2 Amps per common power output. This Output module was tailored to source current to the loads from the user common or positive power bus. Thanks to its design, the module offers unrivalled versatility. The output characteristics are compatible with a myriad of load devices such as solenoids, motor starters and indicators.

These output characteristics include ON and OFF response maximum time of 2ms, off-state leakage of 1mA maximum, output voltage drop of 1 volt maximum and an in-rush current 4.78 Amps for 10ms. Power for operation of the field devices is supplied by the user.

At the top of the module, you’ll locate LED indicators which are used to display the ON / OFF status of each point The LED block comprises two horizontal rows with each row having 8 green LEDs.

The top is labelled row is labelled A1 to A8 (first 8 points) and the bottom labelled from A9 right through A16 (Another 8 points). Be sure to find an insert that goes between the inside and outside surface of the hinged door. The circuit wiring information is found towards the inside of the module when the hinged door is shut. The circuit identification information can be recorded on the outside surface. The outside left edge of the insert is coded blue to indicate a low-voltage module. The IC693MDL732 output module however, does not have fuses. It can be installed in any I/O slot of 5 0r 10-slot baseplate in the 90-30 PLC system.

The GE Fanuc IC693MDL732 module is a positive logic I/O module for Series 90-30 PLCs. The programmable and versatile Series 90-30 PLCs can be assembled from a wide variety of modular components. The basic PLC components are baseplates, power supplies, CPUs, I/O modules, option modules, and cables. The IC693MDL732 module is a discrete output module.

GE Fanuc also provides several other types of I/O modules including analog input/output modules and analog/digital combination modules. There are 8 outputs on the IC693MDL732 module. The output current per point can go up to a maximum of 0.5 Amps. The peak output current per common is 2 Amps. The power requirements of the IC693MDL732 module is 50 milliamps of current when all the outputs are on. The module is designed for 5 Volts DC input voltage.

 

The IC693MDL732 module's inrush current is 4.78 Amps for 10 milliseconds. The output voltage drop is 1 Volt (maximum). The maximum off-state leakage is 1 milliamp. The maximum "on" response time is 2 milliseconds and the maximum "off" response time is 2 milliseconds. The rated voltage for the module is 12 to 24 Volts DC. The IC693MDL732 module is designed for positive logic characteristics. The output device is connected between the negative power bus and the output module.
 

The module output characteristics are compatible with a wide range of user-supplied load devices including motor starters, indicators, and solenoids. The power for field devices is user-supplied. LED indicators which provide the on and off status of each of the module points are located at the top of the module. No fuses are available on the IC693MDL732 module.
