The GE Fanuc IC660EBA021 Genius I/O Block Electronics Assembly is made for the GE Genius I/O RTD (Resistive Temperature Detector) input block. The IC660EBA021 Electronics Assembly can be ordered together with a terminal assembly as a complete factory-assembled module or separately as a single electronics assembly with 6 input channels. The IC660EBA021 Electronics Assembly has 6 input circuits arranged in 3 groups of 2 with up to 300 Volts of isolation between each group. Each IC660EBA021 Electronics Assembly input is compatible with nickel, copper, or platinum Resistive Temperature Detectors (RTDs), and the input data from each input channel is linearized for the RTD type that is selected. The IC660EBA021 Electronics Assembly is factory-calibrated and it requires no additional field calibration. It comes with built-in diagnostics and protective functions including open wire detection, under range/over-range detection, short-circuit detection, fault detection, and error detection that allow for smooth operation.
The IC660EBA021 Electronics Assembly has a block voltage range of 18.0 to 56.0 Volts DC and a maximum power rating of 7.0 Watts. Its 6 iinput channels have 0.1 degrees Celsius of resolution and an absolute accuracy values of +/-1.0 degree Celsius (platinum or nickel RTDs) and +/-10 degrees Celsius (copper RTDs). The IC660EBA021 Electronics Assembly has selectable input update and filter times (400 milliseconds, 800 milliseconds, or 1600 milliseconds), and a resistance measurement range of 0 to 5000 Ohms. The IC660EBA021 Electronics Assembly sends data to the CPU in units of tenths of degrees Celsius, degrees Fahrenheit, Ohms, or in a counts format. The IC660EBA021 Electronics Assembly can be installed on the terminal assembly base by aligning it perfectly to the base and securing it firmly with retaining screws at the top and bottom of the terminal assembly.
