The discontinued Allen Bradley Panelview 600 2711-B6C16 is an operator terminal that enables the user to interface with their machine. This HMI has a 5 in. Color Display. This Panelview allows the user to connect using Panelbuilder 32 software and a RS-232 (DF1) and RS-232 Printer/Download communication port with a 2711-NC13 communication cable(s).
 
 
The user is able to control the HMI using the Keypad/Touchscreen to input information and data. This unit is powered using 85-264 VAC power. This unit has the following internal memory: 240 KB. If applicable this unit has an internal backlight replacement part number of 2711-NL5.
 
 
The approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 6 lbs. and 14 x 11 x 8 in. The most common Series are: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, and L and the most common firmware include 1.00-4.48. The RS-232 (DF1) PanelView terminals use an individual SLC 500, PLC-5, or MicroLogix controller that supports Full Duplex communication. DF1 is a proprietary AB master/slave protocol used to transport information over a serial data communications RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 interface. DF1 is used for applications requiring messaging to and from AB controllers and other equipment.
 
This option offers top performing peer-to-peer communication through the Full Duplex. The DF1 port on the PanelView terminal is a 9-pin, male, RS-232 connector. The RS-232 Printer port can be used to transfer applications between a computer and the terminal, or to connect a printer.

Use separate hardwired operator interface devices that do not depend on solid state electronics.
