• The AB 1746-OW8 SLC 500 Digital Input Module comes with 8 outputs. This module has a voltage category of AC/DC Relay. The operating temperature is -25-60 °C (-13-140 °F) and the nonoperating temperature is -40-85 °C (-40-185 °F) with a relative humidity from 5-95% without condensation. The operating vibration of this module is 2g at 10-500 Hz and the operating shock of this module is 30g. The AB 1746-OW8 has a maximum heat dissipation of 3.7 Watts with 0.138 Watts per point.

• The AB 1746-OW8 Digital Input Module has an operating voltage range of 5-125V DC and 5-265V AC at 47-63 Hz. The backplane current at 5V DC of this module is 85 mA. The backplane current at 24V DC of this module is 90 mA. The AB 1746-OW8 is supplied as open-type equipment. The 1746-OW8 is intended for use in industrial environments. This module should be installed in an environment with a pollution level no higher than Pollution 2 (as defined in the EN / IEC0664-1 publication) when applied in a Zone 2 environment. The enclosure should be accessible only by means of an appliance or tool. Do not disconnect equipment unless the power has been removed. Do not disconnect the equipment if the area it is in is dangerous. If this is disregarded, a dangerous electric arc will be created.
