Removal and Insertion
Any field power supplied to this device—whether at the field terminal or as bussed field power via the Carrier—must be disconnected before removing or connecting the device.
This unit cannot be removed or inserted while the system power is on.
Non-sparking field circuits MUST be de-energized prior to removal and insertion, including the fused terminal block.
For "nL" installations, an I/O loop assessment must be conducted on all energy-limited nodes.
A rotary keying system guarantees compatibility between I/O cards and terminal blocks once installation is finished. The terminal block’s keys must be set to match the I/O card it is used with.
Maintenance and Adjustment
This unit has no user-serviceable components and must not be disassembled under any circumstances.
Calibration is not needed.
