To reset the ESCP after a short-circuit trigger, the 12–24 VDC module power supply must be temporarily removed—a straightforward procedure to minimize downtime.
For installation and deployment, the IC693MDL742 is designed to mount on Series 90-30 baseplates, occupying a single slot. It can be installed in any vacant slot except those designated for power supplies, CPUs, or specialty modules. The number of usable modules is determined by the host processor’s I/O capacity, available memory, and baseplate slot count, with no inherent limit on module quantity. It is ideal for energizing a range of industrial loads, including motor starters, solenoid-actuated devices, indicating lamps, and relays.
Environmental conditions play a key role in ensuring optimal performance: the module requires a non-condensing relative humidity range of 5% to 95% in its operating environment.
