IC697PWR748 More information:

The IC697PWR748 is a rack-mounted power supply module designed, manufactured, and distributed by GE Fanuc Automation. Engineered to operate exclusively at its full rated capacity of 90 Watts, this module connects directly to the PLC rack via a 48-pin backplane connector located on the rack’s left side.

While primarily intended for single-rack power delivery, the IC697PWR748 can also supply power to a second compatible rack—provided the second rack meets the module’s specifications and does not exceed maximum power requirements. For dual-rack operation, the second rack must operate at 5 Volts DC with a current draw not exceeding 5.2 Amps.

Featuring three dedicated outputs, the module delivers the following electrical specifications:

5 Volts DC at 18 Amps
12 Volts DC at 1.5 Amps
-12 Volts DC at 1 Amp

It operates with a nominal input voltage of 48 Volts DC (input range: 35–60 Volts DC) and incorporates electronic overcurrent protection for each output. In the event of an overcurrent condition (exceeding the maximum current rating), the output voltage will fold back to prevent damage to both the power module and the connected rack.

Installation requires direct insertion into the rack via the backplane connector, followed by securing the module with the included mounting screws for stable mechanical fixation.
