Product Overview
The IMHSS03 Hydraulic Servo Module is a valve position control module used in INFI 90 systems to control turbine speed. It interfaces with servo valves or I/H converters and connects to IMMFP01, IMMFP02, or IMMFP03 Multi-Function Processor Modules.
System Integration & Operation
The multi-function processor (MFP) module controls steam or gas turbine throttle valve position by sending position demands to the hydraulic servo (HSS) module. The HSS module drives outputs to open or close throttle valves to match position demands.
The MFP module utilizes the IMFCS01 Frequency Counter Module to measure turbine speed by counting and timing pulses from magnetic pickups on turbine shafts, enabling precise speed calculations and set point adjustments.
Enhanced Performance Features
The IMHSS03 module serves as a compatible replacement for IMHSS01 or IMHSS02 modules with improved performance capabilities. It features automatic demodulator gain tuning for optimal response characteristics.
