The Σ-II Series SGDH-10AE is a Servopack module produced by Yaskawa as part of their automation lineup. This SGDH-10AE model operates on single/three-phase 200 V power and, as a Sigma II amplifier, addresses automation requirements across a power range from 30 watts to 55 kW. It handles torque, speed, and position control by allowing users to configure settings to meet their specific needs, with a rated output of 1.0 kW suitable for corresponding servo motors.

Features of the SGDH-10AE
Lifting the front cover of the Yaskawa SGDH-10AE reveals an analog monitor connector, which is used to monitor motor speed, force reference, and related values via a dedicated cable. When the front cover is closed, the module name and designations are visible for reference. Below the front cover lies the panel display area, featuring a 5-digit, 7-segment LED. This display conveys SERVOPACK status, alarm conditions, and other parameter-related values when settings are input. Also within the panel operator section are the keys used for parameter configuration. Below the panel operator is a charge indicator that illuminates when the main circuit power is on and remains lit as long as the main power supply capacitor holds a charge.

This serves as a safety measure, as the capacitor may retain its charge even after the power supply is turned off. Below the charge indicator, on the left front of the Σ-II Series SGDH-10AE Servopack module, are the main power supply terminals that control the input power. Directly beneath the control terminal are the regenerative resistor connection terminals, followed by the servo motor terminals—these are used to connect external regenerative resistors and servo motor power lines, respectively. The bottom left of the SGDH-10AE houses the ground terminal connections. On the right side, below the panel operator, is the CN# connector for PC monitoring and digital operation. Next down is the CN I/O signal connector, which handles input signals and sequence I/O. The bottom right front connection is the CN2 encoder connector, used for serial converter connections.
