System Principle
AC power is routed to the rectification section via AC distribution branches. The rectifier modules convert this AC power into +24V DC power, which is then distributed through the DC power distribution system to power communication equipment across multiple channels.
Under normal operating conditions, the system operates in a parallel floating charge mode: the rectifier modules, load, and battery work in parallel. Beyond supplying power to communication equipment, the rectifier modules also provide floating charge current to maintain the battery’s state of charge.
In the event of a mains power outage, the rectifier modules cease operation, and the battery takes over as the power source to ensure uninterrupted equipment functionality.
Once mains power is restored, the rectifier modules resume power supply to the equipment and initiate battery recharging to replenish the energy consumed during the outage.
The monitoring module employs a centralized management approach to oversee both AC and DC power distribution. It collects operational data from the rectifier modules via an RS485 interface and executes corresponding control commands.
Additionally, the monitoring module can connect to a local computer through RS485 or RS232 interfaces. It can also link to a centralized monitoring center via a modem or other transmission resources (e.g., official communication channels), enabling the establishment of a unified power system monitoring network.
