Fanuc A06B-0158-B176 Model a40/2000 ALPHA Servo Motor. This motor series stats are the following: 7.3kW, 40Nm TRQ, 25 Amp, 3 phase 184V @ 133Hz, Max 2000 RPM. This motor has a straight shaft with standard seals, external twin FAN housing fitted on, and a brake for vertical axis. Of this generation the 0158 ALPHA series red cap Model A40/2000 motor was fitted on large to very large types of CNC machine tools.
DNC offer new and used refurbished motors with warranty on an exchange basis (assuming in stock). Further many different testing facilities upon the windings, encoder, alignment and on our ALPHA rig in our motor section. Further we can offer rewind, rebuild and repair of brakes, replacement caps, encoders, and completely overhaul the A06B0158B176 fitting new bearings, new seals, cleaning up the shaft, and sanding and painting / sealing the motor.

Gearbox characteristics
Our gearboxes have been designed for optimum performance and for maximum life under normal operating conditions.
Their main characteristic is the capacity to withstand maximum design torque with continuous duty.
The range of gearboxes shown in this catalogue can operate with maximum torque of 0.5 to 6 N.m for long time periods. All values previously stated are for standard products in normal operating conditions, as specified.
In certain cases, these values may be increased if a shorter life is required.

Every gearbox has a torque limit, which is the breaking torque
If this torque is applied to the gearbox, it will cause severe damage.
