These motors deliver starting torque between 300-375% of full load (up to 800% maximum), with configurations available for 2 & 3 speed operation and reversible models.

Three-Phase Rotating Fields

Three-phase rotating fields utilize three pairs of windings spaced 120 degrees apart, energized by voltages with 120-degree phase displacement to create consistent rotational force.

Synchronous Motors

Synchronous motors maintain constant speed with the rotor synchronized to the rotating field. These motors require modifications such as squirrel-cage windings for self-starting capability.

Reluctance Motors

Reluctance motor: A synchronous-induction hybrid with salient pole rotor and cage winding
Starts as an induction motor, runs as a synchronous motor
