MEDLT83SF Description

The Panasonic MEDLT83SF is a high-efficiency, high-response, low-inertia rotary servo motor from the advanced MINAS A6 series. Engineered for precision and speed, it is designed to deliver exceptional dynamic performance in applications requiring rapid acceleration and deceleration. This motor features a smooth, non-keyed "smooth shaft" and is equipped with an integrated electromagnetic brake. It is the ideal choice for vertical-axis applications, robotic joints, and any automation scenario where quick, precise stops and holding positions are critical for safety and functionality.

MEDLT83SF Features

  • Low Inertia & High Response:​ Features a low rotor inertia design, enabling extremely fast acceleration/deceleration rates. This minimizes cycle times and allows for highly responsive motion, crucial for high-speed pick-and-place and indexing applications.
  • Integrated Electromagnetic Brake:​ The built-in spring-applied, electrically-released brake provides reliable holding torque when power is off. This is essential for safety in vertical axes to prevent dropping loads and for maintaining position during power loss or emergencies.
