Start by ensuring terminal block RTB type A or B is securely latched to the module housing. Use a shielded twisted-pair cable for each channel to minimize electrical noise. Power supply common and shield drain should connect to chassis ground at a single point to avoid ground loops.
Each input is differential; avoid grounding either side of the sensor output. Maintain wiring distances under 30 meters when possible. For voltage signals (0–10V), ensure signal sources are low impedance. For current inputs (4–20mA), insert a 250-ohm precision resistor across each input to create a measurable voltage drop.
Keep unused inputs terminated with precision resistors to avoid floating values. Group signal cables away from power wiring to reduce induced noise. Confirm module configuration matches physical connections before applying voltage.
